Welcome. My background in education, mindfulness training, and divine intervention has inspired me to teach others how to create everyday tools in their lives to aid them in recalling their divine (higher) selves and to lead a more peaceful, mindful life. These tools involve the use of mindful crafting, mindful living and meditation, and finding voice through mindful writing. I believe mindful living is key to creativity and creativity is a great conduit to mindful living.
A word here about the 'Goddess' image which is used frequently in our society as an adjective to describe more of a superficial concept. Goddesses are Divine archetypes which at one time were part of a Matriarchal culture where women were revered and treated as equals with their male counterparts. The Divine Feminine is about compassion and love and so in this way, Goddesses in the Garden is female-centric in that what I present embodies these concepts through mindful living and self-compassion.
As an educator, practitioner of mindfulness, writer and artist, my hope is that we as Goddesses in the Garden can sow seeds of inspiration, peace and compassion with our words, and our art for the betterment of humanity and to balance the world.
